Vertical Blinds1

Segmented
into parallel sections
by curtained blinds.

The evening panorama
Of wind blown trees--
mimicking a robot stiff movements--

and speeding cars--
advancing in snack like waves
from one section to another--

define t he boundary
separating
illusion from reality.

          ...for fresh brewed hot coffee on this cloudy autumn morning.

          ...for the apple cider doughnut I had to go with my coffee.
          ...that I have 1,878,910 GPs in my Gift Points account.

Facebook Status Update (11/18/19)

I had a new taste sensation this evening. I had my first slice of bean pie. It was delicious and I want more.
