contains some of my present and past poetry. |
| When pain hurts Many times when sadness hits me, I no longer wish to be in this crafty world. I long to go away as did the sages of yore, seeking peace in valleys, woods and reflections. A sage, I know, I will never be. Yet, I realize, pain brings me closer to myself. The tears I shed, are tears in vain, in self- pity. Why do I have to feel so small? An intelligent human being, is also a slave to impotent anger at incarnations of hypocrisy and malice. But tears, I found do not wipe out the shadowy feelings. I urge myself to think of good things in moments of consuming misery, to think of those whose life is a byword, of tragedy, yet live cheerfully. I somewhat feel the cloud of sorrow dispersed.
