Dark night dawning
Dark night dawning

The balmy night, the stars and a silvery moon
inspire us to realize our dreams soon.
You and I have plans to work on
our success is certain to dawn
to dispel the darkness of depression
disappointment and dejection.

Let me nurture you my love; future’s going to be fine.
Our ardor and devotion will make it shine.
The strength of mind you have shown
while fighting the battle on your own
fills my desolate heart with hope and courage.
The harbor’s in sight after a hazardous voyage.

Light and shadow played on our love
God’s blessings, a soothing shower from above.
It’s not often one meets a person of your caliber
moving from the downs of defeat to conquer
heights of strength; each day a page of pleasure.
Life’s no longer a painful pressure, just a gift to treasure.

Shadow or sunshine made little difference,
let me nurture our love replete with effervescence.
Stretch your arms up high, reach out for renewed life!
Let go the shackles of fear, breathe in relief without strife.
