contains some of my present and past poetry. |
| My land, my life. Mother and Motherland Are Gifts Greater than heaven. The Himalayas, white ranges, remind me of the Vedas, of eternal virtues. The three oceans circling my nation, reinforce the lesson ‘Broaden your horizon’. My spirit exhilarates at a race never displaced, by aggression and suppression. The light of wisdom still kindles in the land of Buddha. Shadow play in high places, Shallow men in lead positions, do not disperse, the peace of common millions. Their striving, Their simplicity, Their ability, at shrugging away pain, Their ordinary pleasures, practical patterns, reachable goals, Their commendable strength of the mind, Fill me with incandescence, Contentment and pride. The tricolor flag, A bright flutter In the blue sky Tells me ‘Don’t desert the valuable asset’. |
