Shakespearean-Style Sonnet: "Valentine Mine"

How wondrous wife in all your many traits
of beauty and creative gifts most rare!
I love the time we spend on earthly dates.
What peace I feel from lifted daily care!

Your smiling face doth brighten ev'ry room.
How sweet your kiss to bless my joy-filled heart!
The daffodils, though starting now to bloom,
are pastel next to His Divinest art.

The friendship wafts from your dear spoken words.
To hold your hand makes hopeful life to soar.
Your tongue creates the songs of little birds.
What balm to ear! I always long for more.

I thank you for the gift of days as one.
I'm grateful, that our love will ne'er be done.
