From the depths of my heart



I am thankful for you the great elements!
The vital sources of my happy existence.
I am grateful for
The earth’s plenty
The air’s purity
The fire’s sanctity
The sky’s generosity.

My loving thanks to my parents
Who granted me life and its delights.
My heart glows with gratitude
For my teachers who with beatitude
Led me from darkness to light
Gave me the strength to live right.

My many friends and companions
Stay forever in my fond memories
My endless thanks for their affection
That bailed me out of many an affliction.

I am thankful for you my Lord
For blessing me with a sojourner
Loving, compassionate and tender.
For motherhood of great accord,
For the whole people for continuing
To help me grow into a better human being.
