There’s a symphony that hums,
whenever the AC runs.
Sometimes a marching band,
strikes up in the fan.

There’s nothing to fear,
from a musical ear.
It’s not schizophrenia,
It’s just apophenia.

Apophenia: searching for patterns in random data

Musical Ear Syndrome is a form of apophenia or audio pareidolia. In MES "the phantom music or singing is triggered by an unrelated external background sound whether the person is aware of this sound or not".
