The Three Squared is a simple form devised by Jane Dougherty. It consists of nine lines (divided into three tercets = 3 squared) with nine syllables per line. Each stanza is mono-rhymed, for a scheme of AAA, BBB, CCC, With You, I Am In Love By Lisa Noe You are my heart, you’re my universe, You are the one that I will put first, When we have a fight, I come out worse. We hardly ever have those cross-words, Because I don’t want you to get hurt, You are everything that I am worth. Together we make love very good, You’re the best man In our neighborhood, Speak special words to me if you would. |
