| well, the throwdown is in it's final stages, so far it's a four way tie in the voting... but i have a vote! yay :) i have a chance to be in the top 3! trying to think of what to write next. i had a thing that i was going to work on, but it is old... and i want to make up something new. i do want to finish it eventually though... but, it will probably end up being a novella at the rate it's going... more short stories! go! |
| well, it's sort of finished. its, 'good enough', but hopefully i get some useful reviews and can tighten it up before saturday night! also, i've got my own internet hooked up at my house, now i can do anything! ahhhh pure uncut internets, feels so good. It is very distracting though... |
| still writing the throwdown, i cant stop now, i have to finish it tonight, then i can spend friday and saturday until the deadline editing. I read gutguzzlers entry though.. and its good... kinda not feeling as hopeful about mine anymore, but! i will finish it! worked overtime today, and will again tomorrow, so, not as much time to write, but it will be enough! the kinect is dumb. motion controls are dumb. i'd rather push a button and relax. |

Work is going slowly, on the throwdown, i dont know why i dont just write it. anyone who is interested in fantasy at all should watch Game of thrones on HBO... or, you know, borrow it from somewhere... also, read the books! This fantasy stuff is distracting me from my sci fi story, argg i should go read something about robots. |
| i lost my mind friday night. I just now am feeling myself again. i suppose it could be called a panic attack, but at the time it felt so deep and horrifying that i thought i would never be the same again. dont take your sanity for granted. dont take peace for granted. dont take your ability to enjoy life for granted. anyway, glad to feel myself again. Maybe i'll write a story about what was happening in my head, but, i don't think i can ever explain. best get to work on my throwdown! im behind schedule now! |
| three day weekend, hooray! I thought i was going to work this weekend, but i guess not. could have used the money, but oh well. I beat portal2 today, so, now i can get back to writing without that nagging at me, haha. the throwdown is going... alright. i think it's going to be very scattered and confusing as usual, but, it's coming out pretty easily so, good. also i saw another bee today, a bumblebee, i tried to get a picture but she buzzed away :( hopefully i can finish the first draft of the story this long weekend, and then spend more time than usual shining it up. gotta get in the top 3 this time!! |
played portal2 for 4 hours straight last night, havent played a game that much outside of work in a long time! i like solving puzzles  almost done with the outline for my throwdown, i just need to figure out what exactly the bad guys are (some kind of robotic or cybernetic creatures)...what their motivation is (destroy all humans?)... and how they are defeated... so, yeah, just minor details |
