| Hmmm, thinking I might want to send Dark Moon Harvest to a literary agent. Might get more exposure on this book using an agent. Thinking about checking out 3 Seas Literary Agency. Finished up to chapt 18 with the rewrite. Lol only 19+ more chapts to go including what I add in the rewrite. My 50,000 word book might end up closer to 100,000. Hehehe, that's how it is sometimes. Stories tend to take on a life of their own. But that's ok. It would be so much easier if I wasn't busting my ass running the floors at work as a nurse. Wish I could devote more time to my writing. Sigh... |

| I'm still under the weather. Think I need another round of antibiotics. It's ridiculous to walk from the bedroom to the kitchen and feel winded lol! Feels like I've run a marathon. I know I will get over it but all I want to do is sleep. Bronchitis sucks!!! Think I will send Wicked Bedtime Stories to a fledgling publisher. Can't hurt. Love you all! Have wonderful holidays! |

| Just finished my final edit for Soul Mate with Rogue Phoenix Press. It will be ready Feb. Also, Silver Publishing sent me an email letting me know that Elemental Seduction - Requited by Fire will be ready Feb so I have two ebooks coming out at that time! On page 66 of Dark Moon Harvest in the rewrites. I estimate that it will be ready for submission in another two weeks. I'm so psyched about all of this. Now, if I can just get over this nagging bronchitis. I just walk a few steps and feel like I've run a marathon ick! Psyched about the books. No school this semester so i can write :) |

| Received my first review from CBLS Reviews! My book was reviewed for 4 cups! Here it is: Review: Having never read a novel by McKinzie S. Heart, I was thrilled with my selection for this review. Heart's opening scene of a mystifying occurrence to heroine, Rebecca's moment of self-pleasure had me hooked immediately. From the unanswered questions to the way Heart develops the characters, the plot and the increasingly tension throughout this fast-paced read had me craving more. Heart delivers a powerful punch with Rebecca's memories of her abusive marriage, from the dreams she has to the idea that Charles, the horrendous soon-to-be ex-spouse, is hunting her down. Chilling moments written and honed in to the understanding of realism. Kudos to Heart for bringing such a well detailed story in such a small package. This novella had me enthralled from the first page and I look forward to the next Elemental Seduction novella by Heart. Yayyy!!!! |

| Trying to get some writing in this weekend. Hard to do with work, my classes, and these books but it's gotta be done. Been pretty much working across the board on different ones. Put up a simple webpage. Oh, googled myself the other day and thought it was pretty cool finding pages of info. Hope it will grow as more books come out. Well, back to work. Hard to stay focused sometimes but it must be done. Wish I had the means to just fully focus on the writing. Talk to ya later! |

| Nothing really new today. Been sick. This weekend will be working on Dark Moon Harvest again. I was pleased when I googled my name and found 5.5 pages related to me :) Did make me feel good. Hard to be motivated though when sick. As soon as I get out of class here, I'm going to head to the house and crash. Love you guys!!! |
| Well, I've gotten to chapter 23 on the rewrite for DMH. Still have to add a lot more history etc but I think it will be worth it. Think what I'll do is start working on posting those chaps in my portfolio to save space in here. So when any of you want to read it, you can just check it out in the portfolio. Ok. Gotta go. Gotta give a How-To speech in a few minutes ugh lol |
