Hey! You! Yeah, you! Could you bring this momma some coffee?  I'll be sharing my struggles and triumphs as I try to pin down inspiration while juggling an 8 year old, 6 year old, 5 year old, and 5 month old (oh, and also navigating my chronic illness). There'll be lots of humor, probably more than a little complaining, and just all around good times. I hope you'll come along for the journey! | Prompt: “Hot chocolate is like a hug from the inside.” Do you like hot chocolate, and what are your most favored hot drinks? Oh, man. The better question is, what hot drink do I DISLIKE? The answer is none. Well, except maybe certain types of tea that I don't particularly care for. Even so, I might still drink them on a freezing cold day like today. My favorite hot drink is usually a strong coffee with cream and sugar, or with a little flavored creamer. Hot chocolate is wonderful on snowy days, and I agree with the prompt quote that it is like a warm hug from the inside. Apple cider is great for the fall, and you can drink it hot or cold depending on the weather that day. I particularly like red raspberry leaf tea with honey for a caffeine free soothing beverage, or honey lavender herbal tea for bedtime. For black tea, I love Earl Grey or a nice English Breakfast blend. AlyCatAuthor |
