I think charity/giving is really important too. I think the world would be a much better place if we all spent a little more prioritizing doing something for others.
That's awesome that your son is one of the good ones that make a teacher's day. My wife is an educator and I can tell you from experience that those kids make it all worth it.
My closest Cracker Barrel is the better part of an hour away, courtesy of distance and traffic, so I don't visit often. I do enjoy their biscuits and gravy, though.
