This Blog isn't just for my scriptwriting Projects. It's also for my other activities.

Besides, my different Contest and Activities here on WDC, I have decided to try to do another Blog. Hopefully, this one will last longer than my first one. I think that it might. After all, this one is about me. It also has to do with my main reason why I'm joined WDC: my scriptwriting.

I'm currently working on five different Scriptwriting Projects. One at a time, of course. I just started working on the first one. Am about ready to start my Outline for it. Will Create It after I do my Treatment. I'm not sure how I will handle my scripts too. I am going to Create them too. Just like my Outlines and my Treatments, I'm going to Create a Collection for them. I'm just not sure how I'm going to break them up.

Will I do it all at once or in groups like a certain number of pages, Acts, etc.? If I do it page-wise, it will probably be ten pages at a time.

Because of the subject matter in these Projects, I will probably script them as television movies. Especially since they are sort of pilots for television shows too. So, I'm thinking Acts might be the best way to Create them.

What do you think? Should it be by the page or in Acts?

Don't get yourself discouraged. It sounds like you're 'making' yourself write for the WDC contests. There's a lot of competition when it comes to those contests. I know there are many times people read what the winners wrote and feel they didn't warrant the winning spot, but that's other's opinions. I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

I hope you don't experience prolonged depression because it's not a fun place to be.

Do what you like and enjoy doing. If that's scriptwriting, then that's what it is. I don't do scriptwriting, but I'd give it a try once when I get the time.

Hello Spacefaction. Just read your rather sad 'Maybe I Should Give Up' comments. I am iguanamountain on WDC and member of "WYRM"

working on my third novel. Long ago and far away, I was writing scripts for a repertory theatre company. Later moved to Los Angeles to work in films. I did one film script and filed that with the Screenwriter's Guild in the 1970's. I worked in independent films (Roger Corman companies mostly) doing a total of 22 films in 5 years. Did a lot of breaking down scrips for locations, wardrobe, props, etc. And worked all film skills over that period. I like your enthusiasm to get something started in WDC. I fear the number of screenwriters is very limited as you're finding out. That's why I've been writing novels. I have two books of collected theatre scrips for young audiences published through Lulu. And two novels on Kindle-Amazon. I don't have a lot of time right now because Willow Tears is in final editing. But later I could contribute something (???)
Just wanted to let you know at least one person is reading your blog.
