| Hi y'all 🤠, yesterday a real miracle happened. Beyond the tension going on in this real life drama/comedy... Yesterday decided to take a chance and walk to the nearest supermarket and Walgreens 1.7 miles away from here. I used to walk so much ( I never learned to drive. I grew up in Brooklyn NY and left so didn't need to or realize I would because there were buses and subway in San Francisco too. Oregon had them or had access to family driving. I always loved seeing trees and nature 🍄🟫 up close. Taking pictures of it and myself! In 2021 was staying with a good friend in Tacoma WA. She drives but sometimes I just wanted to explore on my own. Looking at streams and flowers 🌹🪻☯️. Just enjoying it or singing or thinking about people or my writing. Prayers 🙏 too. I'd walk to the Walmart or Fred Myers, other times maybe up to the convenience store . Four years ago we moved out here to pretty rural Mississippi. And I thought about my walking adventures but we could drive and I was told " it wasn't necessary or I probably couldn't do it anymore". With the issues I was having with my health, it seemed my life was at an end sort of. Too old or whatever... Yesterday I took a chance. I brought no pain meds or any backup and just kept walking. Knowing someone in my life is having a hard time seeing... Knowing that there's no one to help, just like years past. Just reality. So you can either give up or survive and try! I took pictures on the way of things I wouldn't see, any other way. In the car I have to be focused on what lane we should be in, and what car's Etc are around. I made it and brought home a mini coke pack, Italian creamer. Found some Mardi gras beads on the ground, from the parade they had. One was a bunch of alien 👽 heads with it and remembered when we drove to Roswell NM, and stopped with our grandson the first time we came to MS. Brought them home for SIS those beads! Couldn't resist. We have beads from other parades a couple of years ago. I left about 9 AM and got back 11:30 Am. Don't know how long this will be possible but thankful to be able to. She thinks I live in a fantasy world with fake online people. I don't see it that way. Started to write a song today, just off the top of my head. Sang and can still hit some notes and keep tune. Motown, Beatles. Glad to hear music 🎵 ☮️ 🎶 again instead of being in the bottom of a black hole, It was foggy and later warm and sunny ☀️ 😎 yesterday. Today the wind 🌬️ is strong and the house needs the heat on! She watches a lot of Facebook reels and found out that if you take Natures Own Bread and wet it up, it won't fall apart. Instead if you hold it under water and squeeze it in half,it will fold and retain it's shape. Been sharing things like this with people out here and having conversations about how much food and other things have changed. How we have to watch ⌚ out for each other and share. Just trying to keep hope alive- y'all ☮️🌹☯️ Just finished Editing the Blogging Bliss newsletter for tomorrow. Check it out! It has an awesome article about Annette and there's so much more.
