Since my old blog "Everyday Canvas " became overfilled, here's a new one. This new blog item will continue answering prompts, the same as the old one.

I like how you say, "Money and status are the loud definitions of success."

That is so very true, and while that may be many people's definition of success, it is not mine. I tend to find success in the small, everyday moments...those moments that make me laugh. That teach me to appreciate. That help me grow!

I'm with you ladies, mine is never high at home. I did a month straight of readings everyday at 10am which was the time my next appointment was and recorded it in my notes on my phone. My blood pressure was high when the nurse took it, much higher than any of my home readings. I show my notes on my phone to the doctor and he says why do we have you on blood pressure medication and then looks at the chart the nurse had set on the counter. He chuckled and said, you have white coat blood pressure. He said a lot of patients have higher blood pressure whenever they're at the doctors. He lowered my medication but wouldn't take me off it. Said it was safer for me to have a low dose than none. Which doesn't make any sense to me.

I feel like we're cattle rushed through the right gates when we're at the doctors.

The same thing happens to me when I go to the doctor. Every 3 months I have to go, and at each visit, they do bloodwork. I work myself up...ha, ha, just thinking about it. They check my blood pressure right before this, and wonder why it is high. The last time this happened, they told me to get a blood pressure cuff, to monitor at home. I did, and it has Never been high while at home.

I prefer discussions over diagnosis. At the end of the day, I'm responsible for my health. I'm going to be part of the decision, or I'll find a new doctor.

I am more confident in a doctor who says they don't know but are working on finding an answer than I am of a doctor who thinks they know everything.

There are a lot of feelings in our lives that we can feel their existence but not see.

That list begins with love. It doesn't have any shape or hue, but it can do miracles and takes an important role in any sort of relationship.

The joy of hearts, forgiveness are other things that can't be seen, but we can feel it's importance.

Courage and peace are two unavoidable specialities that are truly crucial in our lives which we can feel but remain unseen.

Overall, this is a very important blog post. We ought to realise this and apply this in our lives.

That inner peace where mind and body aren't conflicting would be the greatest gift of all for us seniors.

Love I would argue is visible and invisible because there are moments when we are so busy trying to find it, it's right in front of us.

The blogger directly focused on the main subject. Publication of a blog is not her main objective. He writes blog posts regularly mainly for her pleasure nothing else. She is a dedicated soul to literature, bringing a wave of extreme positivity. What can we want more for her? She stressed the love and discipline to enjoy the true joy in literature. A complete and total dedication, not partly, is required.

On My Blogging

"Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365-page book. Write a good one."

Bloggers, did you realize that blogging every day is like writing a book. Would you consider publishing your blogs?

Blogging may be like writing a book; however, I write in my blog to keep on writing. Publishing the blog? Nope. This is fun for me because it is what I like to do. Publishing is work. I was published enough through the academia even before I registered in WdC almost 25 years ago. After that, I had things published here and there, for a while. That has been enough for me. I won't even attempt it, anymore.

As to the nice quote, it is a motivation and even a bit more than that. It elevates our old mistakes over opportunity, with optimism.

The blank page is the clean slate, and similarly, I can reset my life, too, if only by touching the keys on my laptop. So, goodbye, all the accumulated garbage inside my mind or life!

On the other hand, the blank page can be intimidating as it offers the pressure of infinite possibilities. Also, as writers, we are tempted, sometimes, to wait for a perfect sentence or a flawless opening thought. In my case, especially when writing into the blog, I just write as it comes and put everything down first, and then I go back and fix stuff, mostly repeated words too close together, which seems to be my Achilles' heel.

Related to what I just wrote, the quote itself might be reminding us that the eventual content counts. In other words, it is not perfection but action, aiding the result.

In addition, the 365-page-book shows the results of our consistency. As such, no great novel is lauded for only its one chapter. Then, "write a good one" is a call to action. This made me think. What is a "good one"?

A good one, the way I see it, has to do with a truthful voice, deep character development, and a strong conflict. Similar to this, a "good" meaningful life is marked by lessons learned, resilience of character, struggles, and the courage to go after what is authentic but also challenging. It means writing and living with intention and focusing on character, not only for the people in a book but also in life.

I so hope we are all successful in writing and living those "good ones."
