This is a real "root" as I've eaten this dish since I... can think – and so since my parents and I moved to the border region between Freiburg / Black Forest on the German side and Alsace on the French side because of my dad's work. (Before we'd lived in my birth town Cologne.)

Now, I find meditative interest in other things like renovating rooms in the house. I enjoy cooking meals, but not bothering with baking anymore because I gave up sweets years ago, I have no sweet tooth at all. I guess that's a good thing. However, once a summer, I love to get Pistachio ice cream from an ice cream shop. YUM! 
Now you have to bake as you mustn't share.
