I don't know about you, but when in crisis, I fire up my waffle iron.
And in crisis I am... still . It only took me eight PRECIOUS years to realize it.

You know, one of my BIGGEST problems in letting go especially cook books, is that I always leaf through them once more before I make a decision... which usually my stomach makes for me then.
This happened to me with Barbara Bryant & Georgeanne Brennan's Pistachio , and not only because this is the cover dish .

Hey, c'mon! There's loads of fake NEWS around, and many couldn't care less – this "sushi" is at least nutritious, sating (if you use quality food ), and – most of all – manageable . Not to mention that it'll impress everyone – from party guests to co-workers

Now, I find meditative interest in other things like renovating rooms in the house. I enjoy cooking meals, but not bothering with baking anymore because I gave up sweets years ago, I have no sweet tooth at all. I guess that's a good thing. However, once a summer, I love to get Pistachio ice cream from an ice cream shop. YUM! 
Now you have to bake as you mustn't share.
