Happy Holi! Your festival sounds beautiful—I wish I could see it. I've always admired the vivid clothing I see many Indian people wear. They go through life looking lovely, and spreading joy whether they intend to or not. I hope you get many, many colors.

I agree that not all criticism is beneficial. However, it may be the individual receiving the criticism that does have the problem. I look at it this way: Take it for what it might give you, which could be nothing. Don't take it to0 personal but remember what is being critiqued. Sometimes (I have done this) we take the words to seem mean, harsh but I now try to find or see the other person's side of it. We take good news easier than we do bad news. It is hard to accept that we might need to hear a person's point of view on our work or comments. Keep a open mind; can't hurt.
