Welcome to the Tenth Annual Contest of the Special thanks to 🌠HuntersMoon through "Scheming Scoundrel's Forum of Finesse"  . for the awesome awardicon that gives graces to this contest forum.💓  Click the youtube link to be more inspired  Romance is in the air, and I see fluttering hearts as well as sweet words everywhere. I always been in love with words, especially poetry, for me, they are like flowers that have their own beauty, they are able to last their fragrance, and will stay in ones' heart.  Some of these are: Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate. Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer's lease hath all too short a date. . (exerpt From William Shakesphere-Sonnet 18) Or like some all time favorite love poems: "if each day, each hour, you feel that you are destined for me with implacable sweetness, if each day a flower climbs up to your lips to seek me, ah my love, ah my own, in me all that fire is repeated, in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten, my love feeds on your love, beloved, and as long as you live it will be in your arms without leaving mine. (excerpt from if-you-forget-me-by-pablo-neruda) Or like the poetry of our Mr. Heart Throb Poet 2025 here in WDC wonder Land. We shared that springtime day and many more on walks, and talked of winters and of springs. We talked of life upon a distant shore, until at length, we talked of wedding rings. This is an annual contest, and will open only in February, in celebration of the Season of Heart here in this wonderful world of Writing Dot Com. So grab now your mighty pen or 'puter and muse and scribble poetic words to me. The Contest Rule  a poet who dabbles most in the Romance Poetry Genre. Item that you will be submitting must be NEW. The item should follow the given prompt. One entry only for one entrant. The rating should be for everybody.
