The Sheshire is a poetic form of 20 lines designed by American Jewish poet Charles David Lipsig. The structure consists of three sestets (six line stanzas) following by a rhyming couplet with rhyme scheme options of ababab cdcdcd efefef gg or abcabc defdef ghighi jj Each line except the last must have the same number of syllables. The last line can have up to six extra syllables separated by some sort of punctuation, as described and demonstrated in the following link: http://poetscollective.org/poetryforms/sheshire/ .
