"Capsized"  Open in new Window.

The first part of the book was set in Mexico, where the heroine was undercover at a drug lord's compound. She was working as a chemist and her beauty got her up close with the criminal. The next part was in international waters, then the rest in various parts of the USA. I figure (hope) this counts because of the first part. She spoke fluent Spanish and had taken on a Latino name for her undercover work.
