For my contest

A contest for the heart season- (Poetry Contest)

Romance is in the air, and I see fluttering hearts as well as sweet words everywhere.

I always been in love into words especially poetry, for me, they are like flowers that have its own beauty, able to last its fragrance and will stay in ones' heart. *Heart*

Some of these are:

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
.

(exerpt From William Shakesphere-Sonnet 18)

Or like some all time favorite love poems:

"if each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
ah my love, ah my own,
in me all that fire is repeated,
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
my love feeds on your love, beloved,
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine.

(excerpt from if-you-forget-me-by-pablo-neruda)

Or like the poetry of our Mr. Heart Throb Poet 2020 here in WDC Land.

"Green irises gleamed, perfectly planted in
your blonde garden, wading like hydrilla beneath my form, too young
to know then. I've learned since, why we never swam beyond
that timeless shore -- theatre on thin film inside my
foggy head. I loved you then, as much as
the fading memory now."

(Excerpt from Tricky Cat Spooky No One - "Time-Kissed
