QPdoll Your thoughts matter to the writer, whether it is in-depth or not. I've gotten some reviews where the reviewer has written something to the effect of "This paragraph was confusing" or "this line in your poem just seems out of place". Then they clarify that they lack the ability to give ideas on how to fix it, but it just stands out to them. I still appreciated their review. They may not have had the knowledge to tell me how to fix it but they were able to bring it to my attention. The fact that it was brought to my attention, made me evaluate how to fix it or ask for further assistance from another writer. So, don't belittle the importance of your input. So long as you review to the best of your knowledge and ability you are helping the writer.
