1. That would work fine. 2. Personally, I do not think so. Generally, such summations are not necessary and do weaken the overall impact. In this case, I think it broadens the scope by transforming your narrator's individual triumph to a victory for the community around him now that the bully has been exposed for what he is. Just my humble opinion. 3. The Epinicia celebrates a triumph, and this poem certainly does that. Let the creativity flow from your soul! Dave "The Poet's Place " |
