Reviewing with River

1. How many times per week or month do you review a Newbie?
Sadly, it has been a couple of months since I have done any reviewing. When I do, about half of them are for newbies.

2. Is there any specific way you try to encourage them?
Start with a positive by congratulating them on populating their port, provide a few constructive comments, and conclude by reminding them that we all start from the same situation. A prima ballerina began her journey by taking a few faltering baby steps, falling down, getting up, and trying again. Even at the pinnacle of her career, she still practices tirelessly to continue honing her craft.

3. Have you ever taken a Newbie under your wing?
Strange twist: As a newbie seeking instruction, my "mentor" started asking for guidance from me, which I gladly provided. Today, I stand ready to assist any who request it, newbie or otherwise.
