Form of the week: The de Tabley
by Dave Author IconMail Icon
The de Tabley is a stanza form named after John Leicester Warren, Lord de Tabley (1835 - 1895), and patterned after his poem Chorus from Medeq. The structure consists of a quatrain (four line stanza) with line lengths alternating between jambic pentamenter and iambic trimeter and an alternating rhyme scheme, as described and demonstrated in the following link: http://poetscollective.org/poetryforms/the-de-tabley/ .

Let the creativity flow from your soul! *Cool*
