Reviewing with River

A. Have your writing skills improved by reviewing other WdC members?

Of course. Analyzing other people's work helps me look at my own work from a more objective point of view. Exposure to different perspectives helps to broaden the scope of my own creativity. Writing is writing, and practice of any kind of writing is bound to bring improvement in those skills, whether it be poetry, fiction, nonfiction, or reviewing.

B. Do you make a practice of reviewing daily?

Not every day. I try to strike a balance each week between reviewing, writing my own work, and staying engaged with activities in "The Poet's Place "  group.

C. Do you have thoughts to share on this topic?

I think this feature is what makes WDC the prime venue for writing that it is.
