Coming of age story (WdC's birthday edition)

*Dollar* 100,000 GPs were sent to "The Book Club" Open in new Window. with this post.
My goal is to read 52 books for this challenge in 2020. I was initially going to try to do all 100 books that I attempt in the Monthly Reading Challenge, but a number of those each year are unavailable as WDC Product Reviews based on their formatting (e.g., Audible Originals), so i figure I should play it safe and shoot for a number of books I'm confident will be available to be completed as WDC Product Reviews.

I don't have any particular books in mind, but they will most likely be a mix of nonfiction, mystery/thrillers, and sci-fi/fantasy with some occasional other odds and ends mixed in to spice things up and keep it interesting.
