I just know how I'm going to spend this weekend. Reading. I've just finished 3 mysteries in 7 days. I have 2 more scheduled and a book on chemistry pending. I made chocolate, chocolate chip muffins and walnut sugar cookies yesterday and I'm going to make peanut butter cookies today. RECIEPE: healthy sugar cookies 1cup sugar--3 egg yolks--1/2 cup butter--1/4 cup oil-- 1teaspoon vanilla--2 tablespoons peanut protein--2 tablespoons ground flax--1/2 teaspoon soda--1and1/2 cup flour. Mix wet ingredients together, beat well with mixer- add dry ingredients mix well-- grease pan. Drop teaspoons full on to pan. bake 325 for 14 minutes in infrared oven or 350 for 12 minutes in regular oven or bake at whatever your oven bakes at to gain good cookies. If you alter this recipe by adding 1 egg instead of 3 egg yolks and use about two cups of flour--plus 1cup of chocolate chips you get chocolate chip cookies, or {1 cup of peanut butter, be sure to use peanut oil if making peanut butter cookies you get a better peanut butter flavor.} This is a quick recipe which gains you some vegetable protein plus B vitamins in the flax. Humm! just thought I might try pumpkin instead of peanut butter I wonder what pumpkin cookies taste like, with pumpkin pie spice. September is going to fly by. Have a good holiday all you USA folks. Not USA have a holiday anyway you probably deserve one. bye for now. apondia#1781748 |
