The Sandman loved watching cartoons? That's so lovely  I watched the Disney version of this just a couple of weeks ago, although I've never read the book. I love the film. It was one of my dad's favourites, so it always makes me a little emotional. Did you find the language was a bit outdated? I seem to remember that's what the person who reviewed it last year said. I mean, obviously, it's over 100 years old, so it's bound to be different. But, did it bother you at all? |
He really did. I used to play it just for him sometimes because it made him so happy.   That's a nice memory with your Dad. I grew up reading old books, and still read the King James version of the Bible, so outdated language isn't an issue for me. They have updated versions though. |
