I'm all over the place this year. I'll start with the January books next, now that I've finished the Dark Tower series, but I'm going to need a little break after this - the final book broke me, lol

Cor blimey! This sounds like quite a complicated read. I'm sure I would never be able to follow it through all of the books. And, yes, this last one does sound quite different to the first one you reviewed.

Good luck with the Gunslinger prequel *Wink*

I have to admit that there were a few things I couldn't make sense of, so I googled what was going on, and it was because I had already forgotten something I had read in a previous book. There were so many wildly different things happening, it was difficult to keep track of how they all fit together. On a few occasions I had a light bulb moment and felt quite clever, but others, I was more like *Confused*

That was kind of how I felt when reading 'Game Of Thrones.' There were so many characters that I felt it hard to keep track. And I didn't always notice the things that would be important later on.
