A private place for Muslim sisters to sit around, get to know each other and learn |
salam sis nice to see the lounge so busy yes i wear the hijab. since i started high school - so a bit later than i matured - around 12 i think. how do i feel about it? well i am happy to wear it and proud to wear it, but to honest i'm tired of wearing it. not in public like outside i don't mind that. but here in the uk we have mixed gatherings, and so when we all get together at home i still have to wear it. i hate that, cos i never or very rarely get to dress up when friends are over. but with regards to the modest i totally see and understand why we wear it. i sooo look forward to the day when i am married and have my own place, then i'll separate gatherings and dress up ALL the time ![]() i started wearing the jilbab 2 yrs ago, after going abroad for a few weeks and wearing it there. so it became easier to come back and wear it. once i started wearing the jilab buying clothes became much easier, i could buy things more fitted etc. cos it would all be hidden, i like that. before buying clothes was such a headache. and no i don't wear the niqab. hope that helps ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** For an interesting read check out "Showcasing Work On Islam" ![]() ![]() |
