Chapter #12Journey to Boston by: Unknown We continue this chapter in Boston with an agent from the organization (Gen: Run by the leader) analyzing their next target, a 30-year-old blonde woman named Natalie along with her 2 kids Matt and Jenny, and her husband Nate. "I have eyes on the target," the agent says: "when do we strike," the speaker says. The agent informs him to wait as the time is not right. The family enters the mall and begins splitting up with Natalie taking Jenny while Nathan takes Matt, "Mommy where are gonna shop first," her daughter says, "Let's go to Express first and then will go to where you want to go," the mother says. Suddenly there was a loud shot coming from outside, and everyone in the mall panicked, "Come on we have to find your father and go," she said. but they along with other customers and employees were stopped by the agents holding their guns, they raised their hands but instead of shooting at them, they launched a passed-out gas causing them to pass out, they carried Natalie out of the mall while also destroying security cameras. 20 minutes passed and the police came in to investigate but the agents were already gone and the evidence was destroyed, Nathan and Matt reunited with Jenny but Natalie was missing, "Jenny where is your Mom," he said, she didn't know she replied.
James was still driving his future car while also trying to catch up with Helen and Ryley as they were getting farther and harder to see, "Damn I should've let Helen carry me, but I can do it, just need to follow her footprints that's all," he says. an hour passed and she was nowhere to be seen, James then parked at a gas station stomped by Helen, he then charged his car with the electric pulse, he looked around to see few amounts of people living in this area, their stores were indeed crush but no one was harmed, however, it seems that they no longer care for their damage. "the world is nuts these days," he says. He gets to his car and continues driving, at night time, Ryley looks at her iPad checking James' location, "He's pretty behind," she says. She then uses the microphone to speak to Helen, "What's wrong sweetheart, she says. "James is behind, I think we should consider stopping for rest this night," she says. "
You want me to get him," Helen asked. "James has the iPad I gave him, I'm sure he can find us," she says.
On the open highway, James was getting tired and was starting to give up, he then noticed something blocking his way, "what the heck was that," he pulled to a stop and got out of the car only to find Helen's but facing him, "Ah they are sleeping I guess," he looks at the iPad confirming his location, he then uses his car to drive around Helen passing through her sleeping face. He then sees a campfire with Ryley sitting on a chair with a blanket, she smiles as she sees him coming, "Took you long enough," she says. "yeah sorry about that," he says. Ryley provides a chair for him to sit on, they begin chatting about their plans during the fire and after that, they go to sleep in Ryley's tent. The next day, Helen went to a lake nearby to clean her dirty feet, wondering if these clothes were worth it for her to fit, "I would prefer to avoid nudity," she said to herself, she began making her way back to where she stumbles a giant plate of breakfast provided by Ryley, she sits down next to them and begins eating, they group then continues their journey to Boston while not knowing what to expect.
We end this chapter with Natalie waking up in a containment bubble with patient clothes on, she then punches the window to get someone's attention, an employee comes up to her and she tells him. "Where am I," "Oh don't worry lady, you are in a treat with this project, prepare for the next rampage," he says.
