Chapter #47Something else happens by: Crocodile   Kaori, hoping to calm everybody down, said, "Hey, what if Naruto were to take a bath while we girls sort this out?"
"Fine by me," Naruto said, stretching his arms. "It'll be nice to dip myself in some warm water after all that time in the hospital."
"I'd be more than happy to draw your water for you, Master," Hinata said, rushing to his side.
"Uh...thanks, but I think I'd like some alone time."
"In that case, I'll prepare a fresh set of clothes for you, as well as arrange the master bedroom to suit your needs!"
"You don't really..."
"I do!"
Naruto stared at Hinata for a while before saying, "Okay, I guess I could..."
"MASTER!!!"
Naruto barely had time to react before he was knocked to the ground by someone. After sitting himself up, he saw that he was tackled by a woman with long brown hair tied in a ponytail. He never saw her before, but the markings on her face led him to suspect her identity.
"You wouldn't happen to be an Inuzuka, would you?"
"My name is Hana, Master, and I'd be honored if you allowed me the privilege of becoming your maid."
"Hold on! What makes you think you're worthy of Master?" Hinata said, a jealous look in her eyes.
"More to the point, what brought this on?" Tsunade ask, suppressing her own desire to defend Naruto in order to save face.
"I don't know, but for some reason, Master is giving off a strange scent. The more I smell it, the more I grew to appreciate my true purpose. I'll do anything you please of me, Master."
"I don't smell anything," Tenten remarked.
"And I'd know if he was smelling strange; I gave him a sponge bath twice a day every day while he was in the hospital!" Kaori interjected.
"You wouldn't notice; only a finely acute sense of smell could pick it up, which is what we of the Inuzuka clan have cultivated for generations," Hana said. She then turned to face Naruto and said, "Master, please accept me as your humble maid."  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
