Chapter #40

A Girlfriendly Face

by: rugal b. Author IconMail Icon
You want to use the mask on Chelsea. After all, if you want to take over who's who in the squad you'll need her... right? She's the one who knows everything, she's the one who can get a girl alone with a snap of her fingers. But then would you be able to actually get her as you are now? She'd never give Will Prescott the time of day, after all, and you even wonder if she'd give Sydney McGlynn the time of day; at least without her sidekicks hanging around.

It's thoughts such as these which keep you so occupied that you wind up forgetting about putting on the mask and copying your face. And by the time you do remember that you needed to do that, you're startled by the sound of another, older, car pulling up. Your breath catches in your throat for it's a restored Beetle which can only mean... and sure enough Gordon Black, somehow, emerges from the car. An imposing human mountain, it's a miracle he can even fit inside a car that small, and you're certainly not about to ask him. Thankfully, he doesn't seem to notice you as he practically shoves himself inside of Chelsea's house.

That saps a lot of your motivation to even get Chelsea because now not only are all of the other cheerleaders around but even when they leave her hulking boyfriend will be by her side? How are you even going to get a mask on her now without getting turned into paste? And once you got the mask onto her, that would mean Sydney or... yourself... would then have Gordon as a boyfriend. You're not sure which thought is worse.

You grab your phone and wait impatiently until you can't stand it and decide that you need to stretch your legs a bit. You're leaning against your truck when you see the front door of the house open and Lin Pol comes out and she's very quickly joined by Cindy and Yumi.

You're struck by inspiration.

Yumi said she wanted to talk to you and it's not as if she wouldn't know the squad dynamics as well as anyone, right? But as she steps out she gives you a look and then turns back to her friends. The three chat or a moment as more people emerge before breaking up and heading to their cars. Wait... is Yumi ignoring you? After she said she wanted to talk to you? Was she just teasing you or something? Well maybe you should call her bluff.

"Oh, Will," she says after you've called out and marched up to her. "What's up?"

"What's— you said you wanted to talk to me, right?" you ask in disbelief. "After 'this'," you gesture towards the house, "was over?"

She shifts a little uncomfortably. "I guess I did, yeah, but... look, don't you want to spend time," she says as gives you a penetrating look, "with your girlfriend?"

"Sure, but then what was all that about earlier?"

Yumi looks like she's about to say something when a voice cuts through the air. "What was what about, sweetie?" asks Sydney as you feel her wrap her arms around your right arm.

"Huh? Oh, nothing, just—"

"I wanted to talk to Will," Yumi jumps in as her attention turns to Sydney. "And actually, I think I want to talk to you as well. You've really turned things upside down, haven't you?"

"Sure, I'd like that. I want to get to know Will's friends after all," replies Sydney as she squeezes your arm a little more. "Oh, but we can't do it here of course. Did you have somewhere in mind?"

"Nowhere in particular," answers Yumi. "Starbucks?"

"A little crowded, don't you think?" Sydney retorts. "This sounds like it'd be better as a more private conversation and— Oh! I know just the place! Will actually showed it to me." You turn to look at Sydney who's giving you a warm smile. "You'd be fine showing Yumi as well, right?"

You look from her back to Yumi whose expression, much as you can gauge it, is guarded and calculated, as if she's carefully assessing the situation.

"Sure, I guess I don't have a problem with it," you say to Sydney before turning back to Yumi. "Um, if you're fine with it. Just... follow us?"

She doesn't actually say anything but Yumi does nod and gets in her car while you and Sydney pile into your truck.

"I don't think she likes me too much," Sydney says with amusement as you put the key in the ignition. "God, what a shitshow that was and we couldn't even— wait, are we still getting Chelsea?"

"We'll see what happens after we've got a mask of Yumi I guess," you tell her. "I, uh, didn't make a mask of myself by the way, sorry. I nearly shit myself when I saw Gordon."

"Mmm, it's okay," she replies as she digs around in front of her seat and pulls out a mask. "I think I want to be Yumi. Is that fine?"

"Works for me, I don't really have a preference."

"Okay, well," she starts and then yelps as she tugs out some strands of hair. "I'll see you when we get there." Though you're concentrating on the road as you pull out, from the corner of your eye you see your girlfriend place the hair on her lap and then the blank mask on her face.

"It doesn't work!" Yumi says as she petulantly stomps her foot in frustration.

"What do you mean it doesn't work? You look like Yumi to me."

"Yeah, I look like her but," she growls in frustration, "I don't think like her. All of her memories and stuff, it's not there! How am I supposed be her if I can't... I can't be her!?"

"Look, it's fine okay? Don't freak out!" you reply insistently. "Maybe it'll just take a while to come to you."

"But it wasn't like that for you, right?" she whines. "So how come I— UGH!"

You yourself really aren't sure what's going on either. When you'd gotten to the basement of the old schoolhouse at the Acheson Community Center, you'd had to stall Yumi for a few minutes while the mask was still finishing up with Sydney. You weren't doing a great job of it though and it seemed like she was about to leave when Sydney finally reappeared. The two of you then led Yumi, at her reluctance, into the basement so you could "talk in private" which, of course, turned into Sydney hitting her with a blank mask.

You passed the time with idle chit chat—mostly a lot of Sydney blowing off steam about the whole thing had been an ambush and Chelsea's way of trying to knock her down a peg—until the mask appeared. Sydney then pushed her own new and now treated mask onto the real Yumi turning her into a pedisequoes that looked just like Sydney. But if you thought that you were going to get a show when your real and fake girlfriends needed to swap clothes, you were mistaken as the real girl ushered you out of the basement.

So you passed time until Sydney, that is the fake one, emerged and with a kiss on the cheek told you that she'd see you at school. You then went down into the basement to see Yumi Saito, looking exactly as she had earlier... except for the vexed expression that she now wore. That's when she'd yelled at you.

She's clearly upset and so you do the only thing you can think of and grab her, pulling her in close to a tight hug. She rests her head against your chest as you hold her and in a way it's even more exciting than if she was looking like Sydney. After all, you know Yumi, you like Yumi, you'd consider her a friend. You've also fantasized about her a not—at—all insignificant amount. Holding her in your arms, knowing that she's yours... it's something you could only imagine but now it's real.

And the fact that it's not actually her but is instead your actual girlfriend, transformed via a magic object into Yumi, somehow gives you an even bigger thrill. There's something transgressive about it, something taboo. The real Yumi would never be this close to you, she'd never let you grab her and squeeze her like this. She'd never...

You almost jump when you feel hands under your shirt, caressing your stomach and chest. Yumi's head has moved away from your chest and she looks up at you with a mixture of pleading and happiness. You move your hands so that they grab her waist and you pull her in. Things hang there for a moment before she begins to crane and stretch up—for she's shorter than you—and you lean in. Your lips meet and your tongues are in eachothers' mouths as she begins to push you, backing you up against a wall.

"Thanks Will," she says once she finally pulls back. You feel her hands slide down to your pants.

"What are you—"

"You're always there for me," she says breathlessly. "You've done so much for me. I want to return the favor. Just a little. After all, I— Yumi is going to be your girlfriend, right? And girlfriends... they do things like this for their boyfriends, don't they?"

You're surprised by the very idea of you and Yumi dating, even if "Yumi" in this case is really Sydney. But you're even more surprised when her hands, slim and dainty, undo the button on your cargo shorts and pull down the zipper, then pull down both your shorts and underwear. And yet again, you're surprised when she kneels down in front of you.

The biggest surprise of all though is when, with a shockingly strong grip, Yumi Saito grabs hold of your dick, places it in her mouth and begins sucking you off.
