If you're going to run away, it's best to run away now, while Chad is still confused and frightened. You rendezvous Josh and Cindy on the doorstep of her house, scrub her mind of as much as you can find, and then pull out of her and into Josh with a quick kiss. You then walk him over to the library, where you already have Sandra waiting, and repeat this maneuver, then walk up to the top floor to connect with Allison. Within twenty minutes of Chad's departure, you are fully concentrated in Allison and have called Mary to invite her over.
Your plan is to capture your sister again, but as you change into jeans and a t-shirt you ponder whether you should stick around in Allison for a bit longer. Part of you wants to flee the college entirely, but you also know that it might be a good idea not to fully exit your current host.
Through Allison, after all, you can keep a bit of an eye on Josh and Cindy by dropping by to see Linda on protest business: If Chad starts really acting weird, you might pick up news of it. There is also the protest at the military base to consider. You're wondering whether it is a good idea for it to proceed: making anti-base noises might attract the attention of even a lunkhead like Chad, and give him the idea of going to the base commanders with a story about body-possessing blue goo. And that is probably just about the only place he could go where they might listen to him.
The problem is that Allison is already deeply into planning the protest, and only by staying in her might you put the brakes on without it looking very strange to her friends.
