This choice: He gets stuck under her foot..... • Go Back...Chapter #12Failed attempt to escape from Nico Robin's Boot by: Lelouch   "Crap, crap, crap, crap, CRAP!" Luffy repeated dozens of times as he ran in circles inside Nico Robin's boot. His friend's foot was coming in fast and unless something was done he'd be underneath his friends smelly foot! Luffy couldn't swim in the ocean, he did not want to find out if the same applied to foot sweat too.
Faintly the Straw hat captain could see the outer edges of Robin's boot, mostly blocked off by her incoming foot. The keyword being 'mostly' there was a tiny amount of space at the very edge, very very thin; even to Luffy as a rubber human being it would likely be a tight squeeze.
"It's worth the risk!" Luffy screamed like a masachist, breathing in more of the nasty foot odor which surrounded him. He either ignored it or hadn't noticed because Luffy gave no signs of disgust, in fact all he really did was stretch his arms out...literally.
Luffy was literally stretching his arms towards his tiny opening, he wasn't sure if his arms would reach high enough but he had to believe. His head felt kind of light, certain areas of Luffy's peripheral vision were starting to grow blurry too, was Robin's boot odor alone great enough to cause this? If so what kind of horrors would Luffy experience if he actually encountered the foot?
He didn't want to find out, time was running thin and his hands were so close to the rim of Robin's boot. Sadly his arms stretching ability had reached their limit, even a rubber band can only be stretched so far and Luffy's rubber arms had reached their limit.
With an almost cartoonish face Luffy screamed "COME ON!" and leapt up into the air. The added height from his unrealistic ten foot high jump did wonders, his hands had successfully grasped the rim of Robin's boot! "YES!" Luffy yelled triumphantly, instantly turning green at swallowing more of the disgusting foot odor.
Luffy allowed his rubber arms to begin retracting, lifting Luffy high into the air and towards freedom. "I'm gonna make it!"

Not knowing of the struggle going on in her boot Robin boredly slipped her foot deeper into her footwear, such a simple activity seemed to be taking a lot longer than necessary. Her mind was on other things though, to be precise they were on various ruins and the wonders within, " Such wonderful possibiliti- Ah....AHCHOO!" Damn near screaming Robin had sneezed, unknown to her was that this sneeze had far more consequences than a runny nose.

"So close....." Luffy was less than ten meters away from the slight opening of space, in about three seconds he would be out and have slingshoted into the open air that did not smell of feet. At least...this was what was going to happen. Out of the blue Robin muttered something to herself, and more importantly midsentence she let out a loud sneeze.
To Luffy it sounded as if a volcano erupted high above, but sound wasn't all that came from it. A simple sneeze had a very common if not unnoticed effect on Robin, her entire body jolted slightly. Under normal circumstances this would mean next to nothing but when a shrunken Luffy is inches by her foot the effects were quite extreme.
Robin's foot jolted to the side, unknowingly the very bottom of her bare sole ended up on top of Luffy's hands. Any normal person's hand would have been crushed to dust by the impact, but due to the rubber nature of Luffy's entire body his hand mere flattened out like in an old cartoon.
It was flat but Luffy's hands still held on stubbornly, although now the pirate wished they hadn't. Another effect of Robin's minor foot repositioning was that the opening Luffy was heading to...it was blocked off. The other side would have even more space but this side now had none, and Luffy was on a crash course with Nico Robin's sole.
In a couple of seconds the Straw Hat captain slammed against his friend's gigantic bare sole, experiencing odors that made the boot seem like heaven. The sudden pain and shock of the impact finally released Luffy's fingers from the rim he held so desperately on to; he was dazed the impact combined with foot odor and sweat had left Luffy temporarily stunned, which led to a devastating result.
Still unaware of any unusual activity by her foot once Robin had sniffled a couple of times she finally began inserting her foot back into the foot wear, finally getting it on all the way. Stunned and unable to move, Luffy was stuck on the bottom of her sole, a small flattened lifeform between the boots sweat filled insole and Robin's sweat making foot.
With clear uninterest in anything going on around her, Robin took a single step in her now boot clad feet. The weight of Nico Robin fully came onto Luffy's small frame, it was like several hundred tons of flesh on top of him. His body remained okay, but the pain was still there, severely weakened but there.
Luffy could only wonder what Robin would do now....   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
