This choice: "I always wanted to spray paint some walls." • Go Back...Chapter #5Hey, At Least It's Not Arson, Right? by: Unknown "Uh... What?"
"I said I want to spray paint some walls!"
"...Really?" Ellen asked. She did say "anything", but this was the kind of thing a juvenile delinquent would do! Certainly a college-age young man who looked decent enough wouldn't really enjoy something like that.
"Yeah, why not?" Robert said, perhaps a little too nonchalantly. Sure, it wasn't a very classy thing to suggest, but getting a luscious kiss from a pretty maid had him feeling a little bit like a bad boy. Besides, people had told him before that he acted a bit too uptight sometimes in high school. Why not take advantage of the moment to get in touch with his inner miscreant?
"But that's vandalism, isn't it?!" Ellen asked, incredulous.
"Hey, it IS my mansion." Robery reasoned, "I can't be arrested for spray-painting my own property, can I?"
"Well, I guess not, but..."
"Hey, if you're uncomfortable with it, you don't have to do it with me. Just tell me where to find the spray cans, OK?"
"Hold on, I'll get it." Ellen said. With a simple snap of her fingers and a few moments of waiting, several cans of spray paint, each containing a different color, came flying through the air, stopping suddenly and levitating in front of Robert.
"All right!" he said excitedly, "Let's see... Red's a classic color for this kind of thing, so..."
Grabbing the red paint can out of midair and shaking it vigorosly, he strode over confidently to an undecorated space on one of the walls while Ellen looked on, a little nervous.
He had barely pointed the can forward and flexed his pointer finger when a piercing cry rang out:
"DON'T YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, BUSTER!!!"
"Uh... It's Robert..." he mumbled weakly, cringing as he turned toward the source of the noise. | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
