This choice: "Have you thought of revealing the Mystic Guardian to the modern witching world? • Go Back...Chapter #6"Have you thought of revealing the Mystic G... by: Jack   "Do you plan on revealing the existence of the Mystic Guardians to the witching world?" asked mom.
"That's the million dollar question for certain, Mrs. C." replied Jake. "It might not go well with that revelation. Based on what I learnt about your brother, and his Chaotic Science or Pseudo-Magic as the witches like to call it."
"You're right about that one." said mom, before realizing what the teen said. "Wait, how did you know about what happened with John years ago." she then asked, surprised.
"While the witching world is unaware of the existence of the Mystic Guardians, the guardians have been hearing the gossip back then regarding the existence of a chaotic scientist." said Jake reassuringly. "It shook their world so hard. It's honestly hard to believe that the idea of one living male being able to use something similar to magic could stir of the underworld in a hand basket so hard." he continued, flipping the magic book open, and seeing that its blank, he sighed, before closing it shut and crossing his arms. "If they freaked out over something like that, just imagine all the emotional whiplash that would occur if they found out that there were males with access to real magic, although from a different source compared to witch magic."
Mom shuddered, remembering back to all of the hassles her family had to endure in order for her brother John to keep his science. "There would definitely be hysteria. Like with John, there would probably be witch boys and rogues trying to learn how they can be able to use that magic those Mystic Guardians have." she said.
Jake chuckled. "While there are rumors that at one point in history, a witch boy tried to learn how to take his dormant witch magic, and use it as a source for Mystic magic, it was believed that it caused a permanent gender change and becoming a witch in the end, and thus she supposedly disposed of that solution." he continued. "For rogues that were stripped of their magic altogether however, would be shot out of luck."
"That at least answers that potential question that could show up." said mom letting out a sigh of relief. Jake uncrossed his arms and went over to a mirror in the room and looked at his own reflection.
"I guess what can be done is that we wait for you revealing your own family's magic at Matt's party, and then I reveal my magic there." he replied.
Jake gets ready to head out, only for mom to stop him. "One other question I have for you Jake." she said. "You said that it's almost certainly impossible for a witch boy to become a mystic guardian, what about the other way around? Can a boy mystic guardian become a witch if he got turned into a girl?" she asked.
Jake shook his head. "A mystic guardian, whether male or female, can still be able to access their magic, even if they become a different gender." he replied, then smirked. "So if say, you decided that Sarah needs a playmate, which I bet is probably one reason you asked that question in the first place, even as a young girl, I would still have full access to my magic, it would only be weaker." he continued, giving a knowing look to Mom when he mentioned about being aware of her plan.
Mom grinned. "You are a smart one to catch on Jake." she said playfully. "If you were around when Samantha Forester was at the height of her mischief, you'd give her a run for her money on being able to predict her plans."
"My magic, while being fairly strong, would barely be able to beat an adult witch that's fully experienced." he replied. "Give me a couple more years of practice, and maybe things would be different."
Jake opened up the door, only to run into.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
