The local government deliberately kept prices cheap around here. That's why you saw trend setting influencers and wealthy elites from earth rubbing elbows with miners, prospectors and rogue androids and gynoids. It was easier here to drink, fuck and eat away all your money because the base price was so cheap. It was a real honey trap of a planet.
She had a mind for a place called the Gravid Blueberry. It was full of what you could call Blueberry people. These folks were a genetic holdover from the dark expansion plague of long ago. at some point, some random leftover code of the virus could or would activate in their genes and turn them into spherical blueberry hybrids who came and lactated blueberry juice.
These people were sometimes self aware, sometimes they were just lost in a haze of pleasure. People would pay a fortune to drink their juices because it was the most powerful aphrodesiac in the known universe. The stuff would give a person the ultimate orgasm time and time again.
It had to be filtered though. Otherwise the drinker would themselves become a blueberry person.
As it was ,three blueberry people hovered in anti gravity cages, moaning with sexual satisfaction. Brooke grinned, "Barkeep, a shot glass of your finest blueberry juice. Give it to me with no ice."
Though as she was preparing to celebrate her success as a thief, someone was watching from the shadows.
