The group of nine sat around the table eating, some more than others. While Goku and Vegeta stuffed their faces, Bulma was lost in thought.
"Bulma, is something wrong?" Panzy asked.
"It's nothing, I'm just wondering how Trunks is doing..."
"Trunks, that's...?"
"My son."
"Son?! Oh right, I keep forgetting that you guys are actually all grown ups stuck in little kid bodies."
"Yeah, it's kind of a pain."
"So, if you were turned into little kids, does that mean you're now the same age as your son?"
"No. Because the wish that made us kids also made all the actual children into babies." Bulma leaned back in thought. "It's funny, we were literally celebrating Trunks' ninth birthday, then all of a sudden my son was a baby crawling around in diapers. Goten, Goku's son, was right there with him. Everyone else kept their adult minds, but those two are in bodies so young they can't even speak, so I'm not sure what kind of mental state they'd be in."
Panzy ruminated on this. "I can't remember back to when I was a baby. I wonder what it's like."
"Maybe you can ask those two when this is all over. They both seemed happy enough when we left them. I feel bad leaving Trunks alone, but then again, it'd be weird changing his diapers knowing that he's still got his mind in there. An actual baby wouldn't have shame or really be able to comprehend anything, but imagine being old enough to feel shame at being naked, and knowing how to use the toilet, then suddenly you're a baby and you're pooping your diaper and having someone expose your privates to change you. Of course, someone has to change Trunks, even if I'm not there, and Chi-Chi is probably looking after little Goten now, who is in the same boat and is going to need someone to change his dirty diapers. As inconvenient as being turned into a kid has been, by being turned into a helpless baby, they might have it worse. Although," Bulma paused, "Trunks was all smiles and giggles when I left him, so it's possible his mind is like a baby's. Or maybe I'm way off base and being turned into a baby is actually really fun somehow. I don't know."
"Hmm," Panzy began to wonder. "Being a baby, but having the mind of a nine year old... What are those two going through?"   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
