Ash immediately lost her balance and fell. It's not every day that your center of gravity shifts and you gain an ability to levitate and fly.
"Owww, it hurts" Ash groaned.
"Ash, maybe we shouldn't be in such a hurry? That way you'll only hurt yourself!" Misty said, looking a little worried at her changed friend.
"No, no, I can do it, I can..." Ash said, getting up again, and getting ready to fly after Latias... and this time managed to go after her.
Ash got lost a few times, but eventually found her way to the pokemon center, and entered seeing her talking to Nurse Joy.
"Here you go, Tia." Nurse Joy said giving her something Ash could not see. "Now we just need to get you a starter pokemon."
"Latias wait!" Ash called as Latias, heard and turned to look at her holding a pokeball, causing Ash to try to stop before she hit it, only to be too late, and hit the ball headfirst and get sucked inside. And with no idea how to get out she was captured.
"Well, you are very lucky." Nurse Joy noted as she saw what happened.
"How come?" Tia asked.
"Well that was a Latias, known as one of the protectors of our city." Nurse Joy said. "And it practically forced itself into the pokeball. Which means it must see something special in you and wanted you for a trainer, as a Legendarynthat is a big honor."
"Really?" Tia sai, guessing Ash had probably came to stop her.
"Of course." Nurse Joy said. "As a legendary only one that was completely new would not be able to break out of that pokeball."
"Right." Tia nervously said, as she new Ash was a completely new legendary, and quickly left the pokemon center where she saw the rest of the group and...
