Stuffed into a pouch

As you take in the sight of the kangaroos, the one that you backed into grabbed you and held you tight against its furry chest to make sure you couldn't get away. You struggle against the kangaroo's grip, but you are unsuccessful. Then you watch a kangaroo hop over to you, then, to your shock, it starts to strip your clothes off. First, it pulls off your shoes, socks, pants, and underwear with realitive ease, then after the kangaroo holding you shifts its hold on you, it takes off your shirt and hat, leaving you completely naked and still pressed into the kangaroo's soft, brown fur. What is the gender of the kangaroo holding you?
