It was 2020, at the central district of Sapporo, Hokkaido, you were at the gate of ootomi. Your name is Hiroshi Nagayama, a proud son of the Nagayama family who served the imperial Japanese army. Though you were born in Manchuria, Chinese state of Japan, you were honored to be part of Japanese society by the word of the Japanese emperor. You moved to Hokkaido at age 4 and you loved the scenery. You were interested in science technology, and you thought maybe ootomi would be a good start.
“*sigh* let’s do it.” You said.
You went through the gate and went into the building. Once you’ve got the direction to the gymnasium, you got to the spot and waited for the principle to come in. After few minutes, the principle came and bowed to the empire flag and turned to the crowds.
“Good morning new students. I’m Jotaro Shikikaisen, the principle of the ootomi.” He greeted.
He talked about the rich culture of ootomi and how it helped the empire strive after WW2, and it stood strong.
“May your shining light becomes the symbol of our nation, young children.” Jotaro said, now then, some of you might be aware, but we are the one who gives out shikigami as your partners.”
You were aware as your mothers father who were part of high ranking officer in the army, had shikigami for himself to combat against the American forces. Jotaro told everyone that they must pick one shikigami for themselves. They muttered and once the line were made, you got to the line.
When it was your turn, Jotaro looked at you.
“You have the option of either standard shikigami, or mythical one. What shall you pick?” Jotaro asked.
