"So your parents think you're at a baseball camp," Jill said. You nod. "So are you any good?"
"Oh yeah," you begin, about to brag, but then decide you better tone it down. You ARE good, but then again, you are talking to four of the most badass women in any video game you can imagine. So it's easy to sound humble when you keep that fact in mind.
"I was alternate shortstop for the All State team," you explain, "And coach says I stand a pretty good chance of not only getting the first slot next year, when I'm in 9th grade, but maybe even making all nation. You know, for junior high players," you quickly add.
"Impressive," Jill says, and all the other women agree. You blush, but feel proud that all of the women present are impressed
When the cards get revealed, Juliet has another losing hand. "Well, now I get to have bare tootsies," she laughs as she bends over to take off her shoes. When you purposely avoid looking down her top, she sticks her tongue at you and grins. "Look all you want," she laughs, as she kicks off her shoes and sits back up.
And the next hand gets dealt out.
