You decide the best way to remove Chloe's hair would probable be to just cut through her scalp. Lining up the sword with her temples, you cut straight through her head. Her hair began shining a purple color. You pulled up on it, successfully removing her hair ... and also the top of her scalp. You suddenly realize the gravity of your error, as her brain becomes exposed. "Whoah," you say to yourself. You decide to keep this mistake, pressing the red button and restarting time.
The world blurs suddenly, but the feeling of dizziness goes away after a moment.
"Hey, you spacing out on me Jason?" you look at Chloe, who only seems to have only suffered some minor differences in appearance. She was now wearing a pair of cute, thick glasses, which was weird seeing as she had told you she had gotten laser eye surgery at a young age to fix her very poor eyesight. She was also wearing a large, brightly-colored beanie that covered the entirety of her head, not showing a single strand of her non-existent hair.
"Hmmm? Oh sorry, yah, just freaking out a bit about this IT course thing."
"Don't worry, dude," she said, returning to her relaxed nature, "I'm sure you'll get in, your one of the smartest people I know."
You two proceeded to talk for a bit, catching up on the day's events. Eventually, you begin discussing some childhood memories. She doesn't bring up her condition, but you wonder if this is simply because she hasn't told you in this universe, or because she doesn't like to talk about. Finally, she invites you over to her house, as her mom had a gift she needed to give your mom.
When you arrive at her house, she takes you into the kitchen. Compelled by the magical force of Plot Devices you finally decide to find out how much about her condition you knew in this reality. You say, "Hey Chloe, I know your secret," in a playful manner.
Playing along, she replies with, "Really? And what's that?"
"That," you say, reaching over and grabbing her beanie, pulling it off, "Your brain is exposed!"
Chloe just stares at you, and then says...
