If the mare were to see you watching her there was no telling what might happen, whether she would want to help you or squish you or even see you as a source of food..
Better to hang back in the shadows and continue to observe just out of her line of sight.
So, you did just that, moving into a corner so you could continue to watch her work, unseen.
Her attention seemed solely focused upon the paper in front of her, completely ignoring everything else around her.
It was like she was in her own little world.
The little ums and ahhs she made were quite cute, actually, and if it weren't for the fact that you had so little information on the equine creature and try to make friends with her.
The mare looked down at her paper one more time, before she yawned and the chair creaked as she leaned back, limbs crackling as she stretched them out.
She returned the quill to the inkwell and pushed the chair out, getting back on her four hooves and started heading towards the door.
You flattened yourself against the wall so that she wouldn't see you, but it didn't seem like she was even aware you existed.
Your mind was in a turmoil in deciding if you should follow her, until you realized that this place was huge and you might need her help getting out of here.
So, reluctantly, you followed in the mare's hoofsteps, quickly rushing under the door before she could close it completely.
