You tried to establish as a thief in the noble district but you don´t succeeded after all. There were "working" only the best and strongest thiefs in this part of the city. Every of them had their own territory and the won´t let other thiefs operate within it. So you spent your days beeing a water carrier for the high ranked thiefs and had to accept the leftovers they granted you. You were able to pay food and overnight stays with your new income but you weren´t able to improve your skills as planned.
So you decieded to change something. You would have to gain more strength and respect as a thief to finnaly reach your target.
As you think about what to do some thing comes back to your mind. As a child your mother always warned you not to go to the docks. The docks are downtown at the entrance of the sea. This area is full of hard-working sailors and dockworkers. Since the population in this area is very poor, ther is very much crime as well. It is a part of the city where the law of the strongest applies and not the law of the superiors. So, you think it could be the best place to improve your skills as a thief and to proof to your self you would be able to survive on your own.
With this decission in your heart you follow the old and well-trodden road down to the docks.
