Memories of Dekleo's past slowly returned during the trip; small moments that he shared with his conjoined brother, Keldeo. He saw them, in his mind's eye, as young pokemon, running across lakes and rivers. They battled as a single unit, taking down many-times bigger creatures. However through all these slow to return memories, holes appeared that did not fill. The memories that returned seemed random, and most were of mundane, day to day life moments.

While those memories were still precious to Dekleo, it was abundantly apparent how the years of being individual beings hampered their teamwork and coordination. The memories of how powerful they were, were in stark contrast to their current lives. During the occasional attack from a trainer, or overly zealous wild pokemon, Dekleo and his twin struggled to work together.

In those heated moments during battle, they needed to be completely in sync, but often times, they found themselves attempting to jump in opposite directions, one trying to dodge while the trying to back up, or one of them trying to charge while the other did not. Their frustration tolerance, especially with each other, had decreased during this long trip, because even day to day moving around was an annoyance when they were not on the same page.

Once they arrived into the Moor of Icirrus, it was another several day's trek to get to the meeting ground where they could summon the other three swords of justice. It was a special location, connecting all five of the swords. If anyone of them got to the grounds, they could call out using their power, alerting the others that one of their group was calling a meeting. However, the others are not immediately transported there. It was simply a calling sound, a noise at a unique pitch that only the swords could hear.

However, the conjoined brothers had begun another argument, after they had over heard some unsettling news from trainers that were traveling by.

"We have to go to Icirrus City!" Dekleo insisted. His paw-hand was clenched into a fist, and his leg was braced to run. However, his other half did not seem to share in urgency.

"No, it is safer to gather the others first." Keldeo argued. He kept his leg planted, unwilling to move with his brother.

"My parents were in that city; they're lab was attacked!" Dekleo glared at his brother.

"They're not you're parents!" Keldeo yelled. "They just cared for you while you were stuck as a human!"

"That is what parents do!" Dekleo insisted. "I have questions, and I need to make sure they're safe."

Ryo watched the brothers argue back and forth. His fur stood on end, stressed. While his loyalty was to Dekleo first, he had grown to care for his companions conjoined brother as well. He did not like to seem them arguing.

"You agreed we needed to speak to the others first!"

"Everything's changed now. My parents... the scientists who rescued us... they could be in trouble!"

"All the more reason to call the others first! The others swords could help!"

"That could be too late by the time they get here!"

They argued back and forth, but neither seemed to be willing to relent. Dekleo tightened his fist; his hoof-fingers pressing heard into his palm. "You know... being stuck to you is not at all what I had thought. You're more a hinderance than help."

Keldeo growled. "I was thinking the same thing brother... You just hold me back!"

The same thought seemed to cross through their mind. "We need to separate." Both Keldeo and Dekleo said at once. They clasped their hands together, and began to focus their power in an attempt to unmerge their bound bodies.

A blueish aura surrounded them as both brothers closed their eyes and imagined being apart. The aura flared with their desire, but nothing seemed to occur. Dekleo reluctantly acknowledge that whatever Team Galactic had done to originally separate the two of them could not be replicated, at least not with their power. He looked back on his decision to accept being re-merged with his brother with regret. They had both chosen to be remerged, and given that choice, they were stuck with each other.

The blue aura dissipated. Dekleo brought his paw-hand to his side, disappointed that they could not separate from each other. He turned his gaze back to his conjoined twin. "We're going to Icirrus City." He stated adamantly.

"No, we're not!" Keldeo struck his hoof-foot hard into the ground. Dirt kicked up into the air.
