Lissa's clone thinks she is the original.

Lissa’s clone blinked a few times, then squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head.

“Whoa,” said Lissa’s clone. “I have the worst headache.” Lissa’s clone opened her eyes, then looked up at Lissa. “Wow! It worked! But, why am I naked?” Lissa’s clone asked, looking down at her naked body.

“That would be because you are the duplicate,” said Miriel’s left head.

“When I tested the head duplication potion, I discovered that clothes are not duplicated by the magic,” said Miriel’s right head.

“I’m the copy?” Lissa’s clone asked, frowning. “That can’t be right. I remember casting the spell and everything.”

“I was standing here the whole time,” said Lissa. “And you were standing really still for about a minute after I cast the spell. You’re the copy.”

“No,” said Lissa’s clone as tears began to well up in her eyes. “I can’t be the copy. I’m the real Lissa. I have to be!”

“Miriel and Lissa are right,” said Anna gently. “You were created by the tome only a few minutes ago.”

“No... I’m not a fake... I’m not...” Lissa’s clone choked out as tears rolled down her cheeks. “I’m Lissa... I’m real...”

Anna walked up to Lissa’s clone and gently hugged her as Lissa’s clone broke down into sobs.

“Hey, it’s okay,” said Anna soothingly. “We’ll sort this out. It’s going to be alright.”

“No, it’s not,” Lissa’s clone managed to say between sobs. “I’m not real. I’m just a fake.”

“No, don’t talk like that,” said Anna. “Just because you’re a duplicate, that doesn’t mean you’re not a real person. You’re just as real as everyone else, okay?”

“Okay,” Lissa’s clone said miserably as her sobbing began to ease.

“You feeling better now?” Anna asked as she let Lissa’s clone out of the hug and stepped back.

“Not really,” said Lissa’s clone. “I mean, I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but I’m still just a copy of the real Lissa.”

“No, you’re not,” said Lissa. “Sure, you may be a copy of me, but you’re still just as real as I am. You are your own person, even if you still have my memories and personality. Okay?”

Lissa’s clone took a few shaky breaths to calm herself, and nodded. “Okay. Thanks.”

Lissa smiled at her clone. “You’re welcome.”

“Perhaps it would be best if you came up with a new name for yourself,” said Miriel’s left head. “To help you distinguish yourself from Lissa.”

“Yeah, that’s probably a good idea,” said Lissa’s clone. “Um, how about Liz?”

“I think it’s a lovely name,” said Lissa with a smile. “Nice to meet you, Liz!”

“Of course you’d like it,” said the newly-christened Liz, rolling her eyes. “I’m you, remember?”

“No, you’re Liz,” said Lissa. “Just because we have the same memories doesn’t mean we’re the same person.”

“Yeah, I suppose you’re right,” said Liz. “It’s just going to take some getting used to, that’s all.”

“Well, I’m going to find you some clothes,” said Anna, walking off to a different part of the storeroom. “You can’t stay naked forever.”

Liz blushed, and tried to cover herself up with her hands.

“I have a question for you, Liz,” said Miriel’s right head.

“Would you still be interested in helping us test out these potions and tomes, or would you rather not be involved?” asked Miriel’s left head.

You have the following choices:

*Pen*
1. Liz wants to test the potions and tomes.

*Pen*
2. Liz does not want to test the potions and tomes.

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
